"Jen has reminded me to be patient and present with myself while being productive"
My life has been cluttered, mentally & physically. This mind of mine never shuts down and tasks only get half finished. Living on my own has given way to no one holding me accountable. With coaching, I'm learning to be accountable to me! I matter and so does my time and space. With Jen's guidance, I have learned to rely on mindful breathing. It slows my mind and helps me to focus and "get things done"!
The best thing about our coaching relationship is trust & confidentiality. I sometimes get emotional and have a difficult time with "letting go". Jen's encouragement is unconditional. I've been able to purge things and feelings that I’ve held onto for years. Only the good memories have remained through her suggestion to journal while purging (I love to write)...to face my feelings & any fears of "letting go".
Jen has reminded me to be patient and present with myself while being productive. She has helped me balance strengths & weaknesses, as well as how to manage time between work & rest. I'm creating quiet & productive spaces for mental improvement through her coaching.

I really appreciate the time that I had with you. I have had some insecurities about my following through on what I know needed to happen in order to lose weight while I chased better health and better habits. You helped me ponder what is different now than the last time that I had control of my weight. I remembered scenarios that caused me pain while both being smaller and bigger in size physically. I was able to see a common thread there that is still present in my life. I realized also that I don’t really have the female family that I had when I made that journey last time. The emotional toll it took on me left me feeling that it didn’t matter anymore since I didn’t have the connection that I needed.
Jen gave me the space that I needed to explore that. She challenged my perspective of then versus now. I realize that I have stayed in the past and that the now is all that I have and what I do now is all that matters.

I felt privileged to work with Jen. Jen is so gentle and sweet and sensitive, all qualities I admire a great deal. I had the impression that she really listened to me and cared about my life experience. What makes a nurse coach so wonderful for other nurses is that there is a base level of understanding about what our daily life entails, and the challenges we face constantly in our career. Jen is mainly a Cardiac nurse and I am mainly ER so we comprehend each other’s language. We exist in extremely high-stress environments. So there is a level of camaraderie that I found very comforting in that I didn’t have to try to explain at length how I feel, Jen just "gets it.” Our conversations were truly a relief to me because of this fact. I legitimately found healing in her open acceptance of the issues I brought to her and the thoughtful space she created for me to express myself.

It was a pleasure to be one of your clients, not only did you guide me through making and figuring out good, reachable goals for myself. You remained professional, receptive, engaging, and comforting throughout all our sessions. You made me feel like it was such a safe place for me to open up and share things that I never thought I could.
It was not easy for me to open up and be vulnerable when figuring out my goals. It was truly difficult at times to explain where my head was at. You encouraged me and delivered yourself in a warm hearted and compassionate way. I truly never thought I would be able to talk through everything we discussed.
I gained skills on how to develop, manage and complete new goals through our sessions which is something I've always struggled to do. "She quickly earned my trust"
I have recently undergone a series of weekly coaching sessions with Jennifer. It was primarily to seek coaching in several areas that all have underlying ties to weight loss. I am a retired Naval Officer of 30 years’ Service; with combat experience. This has resulted in a guarded persona. I trust and like very few people, I am overweight and out of shape. This led me to seek Jen’s assistance. After our initial session it was clear that I needed to address making friendships, improving my social skills and I needed to lose around 50lb of weight; not only to improve appearance and confidence but also for the associated health benefits. Jen was easy to talk to, she listened attentively, interjecting appropriately to keep me focused on the topic in hand and guiding me to divulge information that I would ordinarily be careful to conceal. She quickly earned my trust – after all, I have a host of information that I have locked away for a reason and must, under no circumstances, come to the forefront of my mind.
We set achievable weekly goals. The ones that I fell short on in any particular week I was encouraged to suggest a plan to correct that shortfall and rectify during the upcoming week. Jen was mindful not to overstretch me. These agreed goals were to increase my social circle, write out a weekly diet plan to improve healthy eating, and a gym routine to increase cardiovascular fitness. These were not only achievable but are things that have now become routine daily life. I will be recommending Jen to my friends and colleagues.

"Helped me stay grounded and present"
Before we started working together, I was feeling overwhelmed with juggling family, house responsibilities, work, the on-call duties, and being in charge. Every time we met, you helped me pause and be present. Mindfulness practice was new to me, but being present, practicing it, and feeling grounded without being distracted by the outside world made a big difference. I really appreciated that you helped me stay grounded and present. It was okay to take time for myself and be open to practicing gratitude and affirmations.
Jen, thank you for creating a safe space without judgment and for providing valuable feedback. It created a space of calmness. I’ve even started applying mindfulness practices at home with my family. Thank you for your time and energy. I would highly recommend you to my friends and family.
